In biology, heart is the starting point of life and in psychology is the centre of man’s emotions. As necessary is for body’s function, heart also depends on the psychosomatic composition of the human mind for its survival. My three dimensional work is an experiential study and recording of the physical and mental state of the heart.
The combination of perforated materials and dissimilar mediums evokes a figuratively interdependence of past memories and experiences. Additionally, the repetition of the motif, and the installation’s set up, reminds a rhythm similar to the pulses of heart, which have the ability to change, accelerate or slow down depending on the intensity of the emotions and senses that activated in the different moments of our lives.
