Diorama: (dia + orama) to see through, that which is seen, the spectacle.

The work “Diorama” represents the harmonious connection between humans and nature and the creation of enigmatic installations around these concepts. The rhythmically repeated patterns compose a three-dimensional, airy world inspired by the curves found in nature. This repetition of form symbolizes moments in our lives, reshaped as memories over time—like waves in the sea, clouds in the sky, or dry leaves in the wind. The human eye and mind can only capture seconds of these moments, yet the viewer standing before “Diorama” can witness these elusive fragments unfolding before them, interacting with the work as it hovers in the center of the room.

This artificial environment develops within faint boundaries that express a need for escape and a rejection of strict limitations, suggesting symbolic spatial freedom. The choice of white as the dominant color reflects an archetypal hue across many cultures, historically symbolizing a wide range of meanings such as harmony, simplicity, perfection, innocence, truth, youth, sacredness, spiritual maturity, and sensitivity. The use of paper as the primary material emphasizes its connection to nature, as its porous surface resembles the texture of flower petals. Structurally, the final outcome emerges through experimentation and the combination of elements using the techniques of papercutting and collage.
