"Engaged Scenography" Workshop with Doris Dziers at Rabbithole Theater Athens, organized by the Goethe Institute & the French Institute
“Air is all around us and moves through our bodies. Clean air has become a scarce resource, and our level of exposure to atmospheric pollution corresponds to our socio-economic status. On the other hand, the wind can beautifully set things in motion, create volumes of light in inflatable objects, and refresh us if we are lucky enough to catch a fresh breeze. In this workshop, participants discussed, reflected upon, and expanded their personal and artistic relationship with air. Together, we created a situation that places air at the center as both a performer and a scenographic element, while scenic conditions of projection and perception were developed through a site-specific approach.”
